Orchard Knob Reservation, a national park, is an oasis amid Chattanooga’s sprawl. Preserved due to its role in the Civil War battles, the Knob is home to all kinds of native plants. Alaina Krakowiak, who studied the native flora of the Knob, shared her personal connection to the Orchard Knob neighborhood.
